You're not watching HDTV...

You may have a new HDTV, but are you really watching HDTV? Most people I know aren't. Here's how to get HD programming:
  1. HDTV box from your Cable or Satellite Provider - get a new HDTV box, your old one is jealous of the new TV and is trying to kill it with a standard 480i signal...
  2. Local channels in HD using an antenna and your TV's tuner - $20 (Amazon.com, Wal-Mart)
  3. Upconverting DVD player - $50-$75 (Amazon.com, Wal-Mart) and will make your DVDs look AWESOME on your new TV. This is a must have.
  4. HD-DVD/Blu-Ray DVD Players - avoid these until a dual format player goes sub-$200
